The ClimateSafe Villages aims to scale up resilient and eco-friendly models to communities across the world. To achieve these goals, the project presents three pathways to tackle climate change through sustainable, community-focused living: the Virtual, Universe One Network, and Urban models. Our worldwide online Virtual community model is already going strong. We already have a ClimateSafe Village online discussion forum with several hundred participants in its first months. We have also created advisory committees for the various topics involved in creating CSVs worldwide. These advisory committees work in a powerful online tool called BaseCamp, which is like Slack and allows you to do all kinds of collaborative work as a group.
